In a rematch of the NIT Championship game from March, the Minnesota Golden Gophers (5-1) will play the Stanford Cardinal (4-2) in the fifth and final game of the Battle 4 Atlantis.

Minnesota lost to Standard in that championship game, 75-51. This time around, they will have the services of power forward Trevor Mbakwe, who suffered a season ending injury in the beginning of last season.

The Gophers will ride the momentum of their upset victory over No. 19 Memphis on Friday. They defeated the Tigers 84-75 led by sophomore point guard Andre “Dre” Hollins who scored 41 points.

Hollins had his breakout performance in the NIT tournament last year but was held to four points while turning it over five times in the game against Stanford.

Unranked Stanford lost to No. 13 Missouri in the first round of the Battle 4 Atlantis, but beat Northern Iowa on Friday to advance.

The game will be played at 2:30 p.m. CT and can be see on AXS TV.
