Class of 2013 cornerback Nate Andrews from Fairhope, Ala. committed to the Gopher football program Wednesday.
The 6-foot, 180 pound, three-star recruit also attracted offers from Florida State, Houston, Louisville and Mississippi among others.
Andrews was recruited by Minnesota secondary coach and special teams coordinator Jay Sawvel. Andrews is Sawvel’s first commitment.
