Sophomore Taylor Uhl finished with 21 goals in the 2012-13 season — three times more than any other player on the Gophers’ women’s soccer team.

Because of those achievements, the Eden Prairie native has been honored as one of 13 national semifinalists for the 2012 NCAA All White Kit Forward of the Year. Uhl led the country with 51 points this season.

Fellow Big Ten student-athletes Cameron and Penn State’s Maya Hayes are among the shortlist of finalists for the award at the forward position.

All White Kit is a women’s soccer online publication. This is the second year the organization has handed out awards for the top players in NCAA women’s soccer.

The field will be narrowed down on Jan. 7, with the winner chosen on Jan. 10.
