Michael Carter on SI All-Bowl team

The Sports Illustrated staff reveled its 2012-13 All-Bowl team Friday and Minnesota’s Michael Carter was listed on defense.

The senior defensive back from Florida had two interceptions in the game on back-to-back drives at a critical portion of the game, but the Gophers still fell short against Texas Tech in the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas.

Carter was one of two Big Ten players on the All-Bowl team — the other being Northwestern defensive lineman Quentin Williams.
