The winning streak is now 31 straight for Gopher women’s hockey as they walloped Minnesota State University, 8-1, on Friday.
Junior Amanda Kessel recorded a natural hat trick in the second period and notched her fourth hat trick of the year.
Minnesota dominated in just about every statistical category, out-shooting MSU 45 to 12.
The Gopher women will face MSU again Saturday at 3 p.m. as Minnesota looks for its 32nd consecutive win, which would tie the NCAA record held by the University of Wisconsin.
