Top-50 Gopher hoops recruit narrows list to include Minnesota


Class of 2014 recruit, Josh Perkins, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Aurora, Colo. recently narrowed his list of schools to nine programs, including the University of Minnesota.

Perkins, a four-star recruit as rated by Rivals, will decide between Arizona, Denver, Duke, Colorado, Gonzaga, Kansas, New Mexico, Stanford and Minnesota.

All but Duke and Stanford have made offers to Perkins, according to ESPN.

This season so far, Perkins has averaged 25.3 points, 5.6 assists and 7.4 rebounds.

Perkins has yet to make a visit to Minnesota, according to the Star Tribune’s Amelia Rayno.
