The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers fell three spots to No. 12 in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

This is the first time the Gophers have fell out of the top 10 since week 8, when they were ranked No. 8 in the country.

Minnesota lost to Michigan last week and have lost two straight. The Wolverines are ranked No. 2, behind Duke, who reclaimed the top seed from Louisville.

Michigan State is directly behind Minnesota in week 12, ranking in at No. 13 — but the top three teams in the Big Ten in the AP rankings are still Michigan, No. 7 Indiana, and Minnesota, respectively.

Following in at No. 14 is Ohio State, who slipped from No. 11 from the previous week.

Illinois dropped out of the top 25.

The Gophers will play Northwestern on Wednesday in Evanston.
