Gophers to play first outdoor hockey game at Hockey City Classic

Happy Hockey Day in America.
The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers will face the Wisconsin Badgers at 3:30 p.m. ET at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The outdoor hockey game is the first outdoor game in the Gophers’ program history.
More than 50,000 fans are expected to be on hand for the late game Sunday afternoon. Miami faced Notre Dame in the opening game, winning 2-1.
The Gophers faced the Badgers in Madison, winning 3-2 at the Kohl Center on Friday night. Minnesota will be the visitors in their series finale.
