Former Gopher dual-threat quarterback and wide-out MarQueis Gray worked out as a quarterback on Sunday at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

Gray, an Indianapolis native, ran a 4.73 second 40-yard-dash time to place him fourth among quarterbacks at the combine. He later said on Twitter that his ankle was bothering him and that his numbers will improve when he’s in better health.

The 6-foot-4, 245 lbs athlete will get another shot at impressing NFL scouts at Pro Day on March 3 at the University of Minnesota.

Gray also threw at the combine on Sunday and according to multiple reports, was impressive. On Pro Day, he will throw again in addition to running routes as a receiver.
