For the first time since 2007, Gopher Baseball had to cancel an entire Big Ten weekend series.   The Gophers were scheduled to take on Michigan State this weekend.

Mother Nature certainly hasn’t been kind to the Gophers and to the new Seibert Field which opened on April 5 against Ohio State.  The Gophers will have to look to improve on their 7-2 Big Ten record next weekend when they take on Iowa in Iowa City.

The Gophers are currently leading the Big Ten and are looking to make the Big Ten Tournament, held this year at Target Field. Minnesota missed out on the Big Ten Tournament last season, faltering late.
