Four-star hoops recruit Paul White from Chicago narrowed his list of schools on Monday from 11 to five — and the Gophers made the cut.
It’s official. My top 5 is Arizona, Georgetown, UConn, Minnesota, and DePaul.

White, who had offers from Iowa State, Marquette, Wisconsin and Ohio State, is ranked 57th on ESPN’s Top 100 recruits for the Class of 2014. The power forward is ranked fifth overall in Illinois.
On the flip side, Richard Pitino and the Gophers were eliminated from Terry Larrier’s final cuts — Minnesota was one of four schools that did not make the cut. UConn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, VCU and Seton Hall are still on Larrier’s list, according to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com.
