Minnesota head football coach Jerry Kill signs autographs for fans after the 2013 Spring Game. Quarterback Mitch Leidner can also be seen doing the same (No. 7 in gold).

Head coach Jerry Kill is not expected to come out of his indefinite leave to coach the Gophers against the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday in Evanston according to acting head coach and defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys.

Claeys spoke at the weekly Gopher football press conference on Tuesday and said Kill was doing well, but “given his situation,” will not be at the game.

Kill, who announced a leave from the team last week, is taking a medical leave to treat his epilepsy, which has already put him out for two games this season.
