Redshirt sophomore Jon Christenson was carted off the field early in the second quarter against the Indiana Hoosiers after injuring his left leg on a goal line play.

The starting center was down on the field for several minutes as trainers attended to him near the endzone. He was surrounded by teammates as Christenson was taken off the field. The injury appears severe enough that Christenson will likely not return to the game.

After the injury timeout, Mitch Leidner would run in for a five yard touchdown to put Minnesota ahead 14-13.
