Despite losses by previously ranked Texas, Miami and Georgia on Saturday, the Minnesota Golden Gophers couldn’t crack the AP Top 25 for Week 13. Instead, the Gophers, who had their second bye week, narrowly missed the cut to rank in unofficially at No. 26.

Minnesota received 77 votes and was upstaged by Duke, who upset Miami on Saturday and came in at No. 25 when the rankings came out on Sunday.

Meanwhile, despite not playing a game this weekend, the Gophers moved up in the USA Today Poll from No. 25 to No. 23 this week.

Minnesota will host the No. 16 Wisconsin Badgers this upcoming Saturday which will feature two 8-2 teams.
