The road to the NFL has started for senior defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman. He accepted an invitation to participate in the 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl on Monday.

Hageman, who’s currently projected to be drafted in the first few rounds of the NFL Draft next spring, is the only Gopher so far to receive an invite. But chances are high that Hageman will be the lone representative for Minnesota in the game that’s set to be played on Jan. 25 in Mobile, Ala.

As for the Big Ten, Hageman is currently one of ten players who have accepted an invitation. More Big Ten players will likely participate as 35 more players will be invited in the coming weeks. As of Monday, the bowl had extended invitations to 72 seniors.

Full List of Big Ten Attendees:

  • Jared Abbrederis, WR, Wisconsin
  • Chris Borland, LB, Wisconsin
  • Kain Colter, QB, Northwestern
  • Darqueze Dennard, DB, Michigan State
  • C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa
  • Stanley Jean-Baptiste,  DB, Nebraska
  • Christian Kirksey, LB, Iowa
  • Jack Mewhort, OT, Ohio State
