Richard Pitino will face his father, Rick, next November in a unique father-son game as part of the Armed Forces Classic in the 2014-15 season.

Set for Nov. 14, it’ll bring Minnesota and Louisville to sunny Puerto Rico with the game set to play out at the U.S. Coast Guard’s Air Station Borinquen. As for the third annual event, it’s sponsored by the Department of Defense and ESPN.

Rick Pitino teased fans with the details a few weeks ago while on a talk show in Louisville, but it only became final on Wednesday with the announcement by ESPN and the DOD.

This isn’t the first time the two have played each other. Last year, Richard’s Florida International University squad was routed by the Cardinals in Louisville, 79-55.
