Minnesota was favored by more than three touchdowns over Kent State last week, before laying an egg for fans and gamblers alike. It’s a little surprising to see them favored by double-digits over an undefeated Ohio team, but that speaks to the perception of the MAC as a whole more than how good the Bobcats are. I expect a very close game on Saturday, so if I were to bet I’d take Ohio to cover and I’d also take the under with two stout defenses on the field.

For Gophers fans, there is one potential point of interest attached to who will be in the booth for Big Ten Network on Saturday. Hutchinson was one of the better offensive guards in the NFL for much of his 12 seasons in the league (2001-2012), including six seasons with the Vikings (2006-2011) with four Pro Bowl selections during his time with the team. At the very least, local fans will get to see if a familiar name has any chops as an analyst.
