The University of Minnesota Gopher men’s hockey team beat Air Force Academy, 4-0, on Friday Dec. 29 at the 22nd annual Mariucci Classic.
The Gophers played the second game of the double-header at Mariucci, winning behind a goal and an assist by Erik Haula in addition to two assists by Nick Bjugstad.
Ryan Reilly and Nate Condon also notched goals for Minnesota in front of a sold-out Mariucci crowd.
Minnesota will play No. 1 ranked Boston College on Sunday at 7 p.m, a rematch of last year’s Frozen Four that BC would go on to win.
