Wrestlers finish Southern Scuffle in fourth

After finishing day 1 of the Southern Scuffle wrestling tournament in second, the Gophers slipped to fourth place following the final day of competition on Wednesday.
Penn State led after the first day and secured the top position with 175.5 points. Oklahoma State finished second with 158 points. The Gophers tallied 139.5 to finish behind third place Missouri at 147.5.
Tony Nelson, the defending NCAA heavyweight champion, lost to Dom Bradley of Missouri in the final after two overtimes. Bradley would win 2-1.
Gophers Chris Dardanes and Logan Storley lost in their finals as well, both losing by a point to Oklahoma State wrestlers.
The tournament was held at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
