The Gophers lost to Michigan on Thursday night at Williams Arena in a clash of top-10 teams — but off the raised court, the hottest-ticket at The Barn in perhaps a decade drew the likes of several big-name recruits.

– Defensive end Andrew Stelter of Owatonna, Minn. was seen in the stands with DL coach Jeff Phelps, according to Ryans Burns of Rivals

– Offensive tackle Frank Ragnow of Chanhassen, Minn. was also seen in the stands, according to Burns:

– Aside from football, top Minnesota basketball recruits Tyus Jones of Apple Valley and Reid Travis of De La Salle High School were also in attendance.

Jones, the top prospect for the class of 2014, had the student section chanting “We want Tyus!”

Another Minnesota hoop recruit Rashad Vaughn did not attend the game due to school.

All three are highly recruited and should be Tubby Smith’s top priority to get at very least one of them signed to the Golden Gophers come National Signing Day.
