The Gopher women’s hockey team continued it’s remarkable season by beating the Wisconsin Badgers 2-0 on Friday to break the NCAA women’s hockey all-time consecutive win streak of 32 games, previously held by the Badgers.
With the win in Madison, Minnesota is 25-0-0 on the season and have not lost or tied in a game since Feb. 17, 2012.
Noora Raty recorded her 36th career shutout win and 99th career win as a Gopher.
Minnesota will get a day off before facing Wisconsin again on Sunday with a chance to extend the streak to 34 consecutive games.
