Gophers 2014 recruit Jeff Jones on Rivals 250

Running back Jeff Jones of Minneapolis is No. 169 on the Rivals 250 for the Class of 2014, a list of the top prep football recruits in the country.
A junior at Washburn High School, the four-star recruit committed to the Gophers on Feb. 2, becoming the first committed recruit for next year.
The six-foot, 190 lbs running back had offers from Wisconsin, Michigan State and Iowa before committing to the Gophers.
Jones is Minnesota’s only recruit on the Rivals 250 and the only recruit from Minnesota.
