Gophers to host Penn State on Senior Day

After upsetting No. 1 Indiana at home on Tuesday, the Minnesota Golden Gophers will host the Penn State Nittany Lions Saturday at Williams Arena on Senior Day.

Trevor Mbakwe, Andre Ingram, Rodney Williams and Julian Welch will be playing their last games at Williams Arena Saturday afternoon against a team that won their first conference game Wednesday after pulling out an upset over No. 4 Michigan last week.

At 1-14 in the Big Ten, Penn State will come into Williams Arena looking for another upset victory but if the Gophers play as well as they did against the Hoosiers, the game should be an easy win for Minnesota.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted on BTN.
