Tubby Smith highlights through the years

On Monday, Tubby Smith was relieved of his duties as the head coach of the Gopher men’s basketball team.

In six years, Smith compiled a record of 124-81 (.605) and took the Gophers to five postseason appearances, including a third round appearance this year in the NCAA Tournament.

But that seemingly wasn’t enough as the University of Minnesota bought out Smith’s contract.
