Gopher basketball: Fan reactions are positive regarding Pitino hire

The Gophers reportedly have a verbal agreement with Richard Pitino, son of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino, to become the next head coach of Minnesota.
Since Tubby Smith was fired nine days ago, the roller coaster of emotions that has been the head coaching search started with optimism before turning to hate towards Athletic Director Norwood Teague.
But by the time the news broke, most fans seemed to have forgotten what they had said just the other day.
