Gopher Baseball: 15 hits leads Minnesota to victory over Iowa

The Minnesota Gophers baseball team trounced the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, 10-2, producing 15 hits as the Gophers avenged a 10th inning loss to Iowa in Iowa City on Friday.
With the win, the Gophers are 25-14 overall and 8-3 in the Big Ten Conference with a little more than three weeks remaining in the regular season before the Big Ten Tournament at the end of May.
Minnesota’s Alec Crawford pitched seven innings for his second win, allowing six hits and two earned runs. He kept the Hawkeyes scoreless into the sixth inning before giving up back-to-back hits.
Ryan Abrahamson led Minnesota offensively going 4-of-5 with a run scored and a run batted in.
The Gophers and Hawkeyes will play the third and final game of the series on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
