Gophers and Pitino make offer to another small forward

Another day and another scholarship offer from Richard Pitino and company. On Tuesday, the Gophers made an offer to small forward Milik Yarbrough of Zion, Ill.

At 6-foot-4 and more than 220 pounds, Yarbrough is a big bodied forward who uses his size effectively to score around the rim. In addition to having solid ball handling skills, Yarbrough also has a sweet pull-up jump shot, but as other scouts have pointed out, he tends to be a streaky shooter.

A three-star recruit in the Class of 2014, Yarbrough is currently sitting on offers from Auburn, Illinois and Iowa along with his offer from Minnesota. Additionally, Missouri and Memphis have also shown interest.

Yarbrough is the second small forward to receive an offer from the Gophers this week. Kyle Kuzma of Burton, Mich. received an offer over the weekend.
