Gophers’ target Lourawls Nairn chooses Michigan State

Four-star point guard recruit Lourawls Nairn announced Thursday morning he will commit to Michigan State. A Top 100 ranked player in the Class of 2014, Nairn was heavily recruited by the Gophers. In return, Nairn had listed Minnesota in his final four.
A native of Kansas, the 5-foot-10, 170 lbs guard made official visits to all four of his final choices within the last month. Nairn started with the University of Minnesota first, visiting on Aug. 31.
Along with Minnesota and the Spartans of MSU, other finalists on Nairn’s list included Oklahoma and Indiana.
