As the University of Minnesota Gophers get ready to head to Ann Arbor this weekend to play the Wolverines in their Homecoming game, the Gophers have yet to revel their quarterback plans for Saturday.

While the starter will be decided between Philip Nelson and Mitch Leidner, the third-string role could be between freshmens Chris Streveler and Donovahn Jones. Streveler is the third-string quarterback, but the Illinois native hurt his hand in practice this week. As a precaution, Jones will get some reps in practice.

Between Streveler and Jones, both of them are dual-threat quarterbacks. However, Jones, the Georgia native has already seen time on the field. He rushed for five yards and made a catch for seven yards against New Mexico State as a wide receiver.
