Jerry Kill and the University of Minnesota Gophers added their eighth football commit to the Class of 2014 with the addition of tight end Brandon Lingen.
A product of the Wayzata High School football machine, the 6-foot-5, 245-pound recruit will join Somerset, Wisc. commit Gaelin Elmore as the only two tight ends in their recruiting class.
Lingen is a three-star recruit who garnered offers from Air Force and Florida Atlantic University before deciding on the Gophers.
