Hundreds of fans sent their well-wishes to Gophers head coach Jerry Kill on Thursday via Twitter after learning of Kill’s indefinite leave from football to treat his epilepsy.
The third-year Minnesota head coach has missed two games this season after suffering seizures. Despite a seasoned coaching staff around him that can lead the Gophers without missing a beat, Kill ultimately decided it was time to step away and put his health in front of football.
Here’s some of the fan reaction to the news.
With Jerry Kill taking an open-ended leave from coaching MN #Gophers, you have to wonder if he will be back next year... #GetWellCoach
