Coming off a bye week, the University of Minnesota Gophers defeated the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday at Ryan Field by a score of 20-17. The win propels Minnesota to its fifth win of the season — one shy of bowl eligibility — while Northwestern stays win-less in the Big Ten.
