Gophers Fall Practice Schedule Released
A month and five days from now the University of Minnesota sends their fighting football Gophers onto the new turf of TCF Bank Stadium to open the season against Eastern Illinois. Of course, that means the team needs to put in some practice. Coach Jerry Kill sent out his practice schedule on Tuesday.
The schedule the University put out sketches out every day in August up until the season opener. The highlight of the release are the practice days that are open to the public. All practices from August 3-5 are open to the public with the 3rd’s practice starting at 10:45 AM and the other two at 5:15 PM.
On August 9, the Gophers will have a morning practice and an evening scrimmage. The scrimmage will be open to the public. The scrimmage starts at 4:40 at TCF Bank Stadium.
In total the Gophers will have 27 practices in August leading up to kickoff.
