2. Minnesota QBs Demry Croft/Jacques Perra
Croft was seen throwing on the sideline during last Saturday’s game, which seems to suggest a quarterback switch was at least being considered, but he never got on the field. If Leidner struggles early against Ohio, Croft seems to be first in line to replace him if head coach Jerry Kill is willing to forego a potential redshirt season in search of an offensive spark. Perra has no such concerns, after redshirting last year, so he is an option to replace Leidner as well.
