5. Minnesota RBs Rodney Smith and Shannon Brooks

No matter who is under center for Minnesota, their top two running backs should be the focal point of their offense. Smith’s role has a pass catcher was growing before last week, with eight receptions total against Kent State and Ohio, so there’s plenty of room for Brooks to make an impact and I expect 30-40 touches for the duo against Purdue.
