2. Minnesota QB Mitch Leidner
In the midst of another dismal effort, as he finished 10-for-21 for 72 yards and turned the ball over twice, Leidner was finally replaced last week. He had a nice game in a win over Purdue last year, but if he can’t turn things around Saturday could be Leidner’s last start this season. On Tuesday head coach Jerry Kill declined to name a starting quarterback for Saturday’s game, suggesting he did not want to tip off the opponent.
