Rodney Smith (ankle) and Shannon Brooks (shoulder) were both banged up against Ohio State last Saturday night, and Williams topped his carry total (five) from the previous five games (three). If Smith and Brooks are out or limited at all against Iowa, Williams could get an opportunity to start and he would be in line for a solid workload.
