1. RB Rodney Smith

Smith, a redshirt freshman, had 16 carries for 88 yards an a touchdown in his first college game last week. He brings something to the table that Rodrick Williams clearly doesn’t at this point, so Smith should clearly be Minnesota’s lead running back against Colorado State and the first 100-yard game of his career is a definite possibility.
