4. LB Cody Poock

Poock reportedly had some soreness in his surgically repaired right knee during the week, but he was able to suit up last Saturday. The sophomore has stepped into a prominent role early this season, with seven tackles in each of the season’s first two games and the crucial forced fumble that helped set up the game winning field goal against Colorado State. Kent State’s best offensive players are running backs Trayion Durham and Nick Holley, and Poock is sure to play a critical role in shutting them down.
